Mark – the Next Generation of Red Angus Genetics at Elena Wagyu

Wednesday, 19 August 2026

At Elena Wagyu, another impressive representative of the next generation is emerging – Mark, a young Red Angus bull with an exceptional pedigree and promising performance from the very first months of his development.

Mark is a son of the legendary Red Seneca 731C and was born through embryo transfer performed by Dr. Anton Vasilev at the Elena Wagyu farm.

The proven genetics of Red Seneca 731C

Red Seneca 731C is a proven sire in the Red Angus breed, known for his exceptional potency, balanced genetics and ability to produce highly efficient sons as well as productive, moderate-framed daughters.

His genetic profile combines traits that are important for growth, productivity and maternal performance:

Seneca consistently passes on traits associated with efficiency, fertility and productivity, producing cattle capable of performing successfully in a wide range of environments.

Mark – 200 kg at just 100 days

The potential of these genetics is already evident in Mark’s development.

At just 100 days of age, the young bull has reached an impressive 200 kg – a strong indication of excellent early growth and vitality, and a promising demonstration of the qualities inherited from his sire.

For Elena Wagyu, Mark represents another important step in our continued work with high-quality, proven genetics. The Red Angus line complements the farm’s breeding programme with traits related to growth, muscling, productivity and strong maternal performance.

An opportunity for proven Red Angus genetics

Mark offers an opportunity to introduce proven Red Angus genetics into herds focused on improving productive performance, carcass quality and maternal traits.
